Free online workshops are offered for primary and secondary school students with the Youth Board of Cyprus, through the The Steamers program and with educational material from Bebras Cyprus.
Erasmus project wINGS - Pilot invitation
The Erasmus+ project wINGS (https://wings.erasmus.site/) coordinated by the University of Cyprus aims to educate entrepreneurs on how to internationalise their business using innovative learning methods. More specifically, it is six innovative serious business and internationalisation games that a training course will support for the internationalisation of start-ups. The goal is to solve the special needs of start-ups and entrepreneurs and make available the proper training about essential aspects of the internationalisation process.
Participants can be VET/UNI Teacher; Trainer; Mentor; Entrepreneur; Student by evaluating at least one of the six chapters and its respective game (in the English version) and then completing a 15-minute end-user satisfaction questionnaire from 03-31 March 2021.
Questionnaire on the impact of Open Data in Cyprus
Questionnaire on the impact of Open Data in Cyprus by the Ministry of Public Administration and Personnel (BTI) of the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with Deloitte Limited. The survey questionnaire is available at the following link: Open Data Impact Survey and the survey will be open until Monday, March 8, 2021 and the time required to complete the questionnaire is approximately 15 minutes.

This week, we established a virtual connection with the Tamasos Primary School where our CCS member and volunteer from "Coding our future" activity Dr. Katerina Hadjigeorgiou offered a Coding Course. this activity followed the successful workshop offerred during the #VirtualHome activities by SupportCY.
SURVEY: Cybersecurity teaching in high schools
Questionnaire regarding the teaching of Cyber Security to students over 14 years old. The purpose of the research is to create educational materials and teaching methods to be used by teachers to discuss cybersecurity and online protection issues with students over 14 years old.

GINOBOT: Robotics Webinars for Secondary Education Teachers
The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) in collaboration with ENGINO, the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, organizes a series of online training seminars for instructors in robotics with the GinoBot robotic vehicle.
The first seminars address trainers of the Secondary Education and will be held on February 28th and March 7th 2021.
