Mr. Andreas Loutsios holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Cyprus Computer Science Society (CCS) Board and he has been an active member of the Society since 1988. Over time, he has substantially contributed to the promotion of IT in Cyprus, actively participating in the actions, events, conferences and competitions organized by CCS. At the same time, he represents the Society in collaborations with Educational Institutions, in European Projects and in International Organizations. Since 1983, he has served IT in various positions, working in organizations such as the Department of Information Technology of the Government and the Central Bank of Cyprus. His particular professional interest is Systems and Information Security and IT Systems Audit. At the academic level, he holds a BSc in Physics, MSc in Computer Science and a Master in Business Administration (MBA). He is a member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) and holds the professional qualifications CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT). He is also an ISACA Accredited Trainer. Furthermore, in the context of lifelong learning, he has attended numerous professional trainings and seminars both in Cyprus and abroad.

Panicos Masouras

Dr. Panicos Masouras holds the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing, School of Health Sciences at the Cyprus University of Technology. He also served as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Higher Technical Institute. He is the CCS Board Secretary and within his duties as projects coordinator he established and manages the annual events of BEBRAS, ROBOTEX, Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge and Coding Our Future.

Skevi Skordallou

Ms. Skevi Skordallou got a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University, USA. Skevi worked in IT for 30 years, started working in the private sector and Offshore companies as Systems Analyst/Programmer. Skevi then moved on to the Airline business where she worked as ICT Officer contributing to the organization automation and deployment of large scale systems. In 2015, following her practice of continuous education, she got a certification in ICT auditing (CISA) from ISACA and she has been working since as a consultant in ICT auditing.
Ms. Skordallou has been a member of CCS since 24 November 1994 and has been elected/re-elected on several occasion and serves as a CCS board treasurer. She contributes to the organization of events and the promotion of Information Technology targeting women participation and diversity.

Yiannos Aletraris

Yiannos Aletraris received his BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, and later on received diplomas in Management and Leadership from the Henley Business School and the CIIM, as well as an advanced diploma from the International Compliance Association. He worked in the IT area for 20 years, initially at the Cyprus Popular Bank, and then the Central Bank of Cyprus where he moved, for the last 12 years in the area of Organisation and Planning. He has been a member of the CCS since 1989, and from 1991 onwards he has served on different positions in the Board. He worked a number of years on the Society’s publications and organising Conferences and training seminars.

George Christodoulou is the Managing Director of ZEBRA Consultants, one of the leading Information Technology companies in Cyprus specializing in software development, infrastructure solutions, consulting services, systems integration and cloud solutions. With more than 20 years of experience in the ICT sector, George helps organizations shape their digital transformation strategy using innovative technology solutions. He holds a BSc in Business Information Technology and an MSc in Information Management. With numerous technical and project management competencies and certifications, he has been involved in the successful delivery of complex IT projects in Cyprus, Greece and the Middle East. Since 2011 George is a board member of the Cyprus Computer Society contributing in the increase of awareness of ICT in Cyprus promoting at the same time high standards among IT professionals.

George Michael is a researcher at KIOS Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence at the University of Cyprus. He received a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus and he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. He worked at the Data-Driven Multi-threading Laboratory at the University of Cyprus for a few years doing research on high-performance computing. Following, he worked as a software developer at XM.COM and CeraNext LTD. His work is mostly on GNU/Linux systems. He is an active Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and IEEE volunteer and he held various positions during the past few years.
