All Digital Network - New Board and Financial Controllers

The Cyprus Computer Society participates since 2015 in the All Digital Network. All Digital is a leading pan-European association based in Brussels, representing 72 member organisations across 25 European countries that work with 25,000 digital competence centres. Following the Annual General Assembly the new board and the new financial controllers have been announced after an online voting procedure.

EU Space Hackathon in Cyprus

CASSINI is European Commission’s support to space-based entrepreneurs and to connect hackers to space by using Copernicus data & services and Galileo and EGNOS signals & data. The 1st CASSINI Hackathon will be held simultaneously in 10 European countries from 18-20 June. The goal of the hackathon is ‘Digitising Green Spaces’ and three challenges await potential space hackers to achieve this: #1 Discover your city / #2 Staying fit & healthy / #3 Protecting our rural areas.

The best hackers of Cyprus

The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) in collaboration with the CyberMouflons Hacking Community successfully organized the Cyprus Cyber ​​Security Competition (CCSC 2021). The aim of the competition, which took place online from 1 to 18 April 2021, was to find the country's young talents in the field of cyber security. 220 person participated at the competition, aged 14 and over, students, soldiers, students, amateurs and professionals in the field. The competition in the form of CTF (Capture the Flag) included 41 different types of challenges in web subjects, reverse engineering, forensics, pwn, steganography, cryptography etc. and the exercises were prepared by a group of volunteer mentors. Check the top players!

All Digital Week in Cyprus

The Cyprus Computer Society in collaboration with various organisations has organized 9 different activities during the All Digital Week. These activities addressed all the age groups starting from Elementary students and reaching up to Adult trainers and Professionals and managed to bring together 1.5K participants from all over the island. It is true that due to the pandemic most of the activities were organised online but some had a physical presence and others were conducted on a hybrid format.
