The Cyprus Computer Society in collaboration with the STEM Education and IET Cyprus organizes the World Robotics Olympiad – WRO Cyprus 2022 that will take place on Saturday July 9th at the European University Cyprus.
Re-Educo Workshop - Presentation Skills
The Cyprus Computer Society as partner of the Re-Educo Erasmus+ Project, is coordinating a Presentations Skills workshop with the participation of key experts in the field. The workshop will take place on Saturday 7 May from 08.45-12.00 CET and the participants will acquire new knowledge in relation to how a presentation should be in relation to the target audience, the use of scientific terminology, the use of body language and many more.

1st E2STEAM Cyprus Festival
The University of Nicosia and the Cyprus Youth Board organize the "1st E2STEAM Cyprus Festival", under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy. The Festival will include presentations, interactive workshops, an educational conference for the teaching of the E2STEAM subject, exhibitions and competitions related to the Environment and Sustainable Development, Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (E2STEAM).

Survey on Cybersecurity and the use of Virtual and Augmented Reality Tools in Education
Organisation from Lithuania, Cyprus, Malta and Romania will be exploring the interest of both ICT and non-ICT trainers and educators to participate in tailor-made, pedagogical-sound and innovative trainings so as to cover their knowledge gap on cyber security issues. The focus will be on the use of modern technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) for classroom trainings.

Re-Educo EU Project school contest
NEW PARTICIPATION DEADLINE: 31 MARCH 2022. The Cyprus Computer Society announces the Cyprus Re-Educo school contest aiming to create new innovative ideas and the development of entrepreneurial and digital skills among secondary school students. Within the framework of this project, this international school contest aims at selecting the best business ideas developed by students from each country and supporting students in the creation of the business project through mentorship and the support of experts in business development and start-ups. The best ideas per country will be presented at an international plenary session.
ICT Career Day - UCY
CCS supports the ICT Career Day event for students that is organised anually by the University of Cyprus and this year it will be in digital form on Saturday February 19th 2022.
European Startup Universe Cyprus
The European Startup Universe is officially expanding to Cyprus for the first time. European Startup Universe Cyprus will launch in March of 2022 and it will run for 6 weeks bringing closer technology startup founders, mentors and experts.

Graphic Stories 2022
CCS supports the 8th International Conference on Visual Communication, Graphic Stories that will take place on March 18-20, in Nicosia, on the topic of Tolerance.
This year's Graphic Stories includes eight [8] lectures, three [3] creative workshops, an [1] international poster exhibition featuring designers from Cyprus and abroad and an [1] interactive installation.
All conference activities will take place at Frederick University, Nicosia.
CODING OUR FUTURE - New series of online seminars for schools
Following the success of last year's seminars and taking into account the epidemiological picture that does not favor live encounters, the dynamic team of CODING OUR FUTURE (COF) returns with a new series of online seminars.
COF coding and technology seminars are offered free of charge, during school hours, for primary and secondary school students, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth.
The first phase of seminars for 2022 will take place online from February 7 to April 15
Train the Trainers in CODING OUR FUTURE (COF) Programme
Recruitment for the COF Trainer Team
The Cyprus Computer Society is looking for trainers to support the CODING OUR FUTURE (COF) Program Trainers Team and is organizing a webinar to be held on Sunday, January 30, from 9:00 to 15:30.
The seminar is based on the current COF educational program for students, which due to a pandemic is implemented online.
Participants in the Train the Trainers seminar should be individuals who care available (now and in the future) to join the COF Trainers Team to teach students during school time, either online or through visits to schools or other locations in their province.
sCYence Fair 2022
CCS participates in the pioneering and multidimensional Science Festival entitled "SCYENCE Fair 2022" (Science Festival 2022), organized by the Cyprus Institute, for the 3rd consecutive year, on 15 and 16 April 2022.

The Cyprus Computer Society in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth is organizing the Pancyprian Informatics Olympiad 2022 for Secondary Education students.
Virtual Robotics Platform Presentation
We invite you to the presentation of an online educational robotics platform, in which children aged 8 and over can participate in robotics activities without the use of robotic equipment.
The platform may be used for training and preparation for participation in robotics competitions.
Cyprus Informatics Olympiad students win 5 medals in Lotfi Zadeh Olympiad
Five total medals were awarded to students of the Informatics Olympiad in the international competition of Informatics and Mathematics Lotfi Zadeh Olympiad, which was held online December 20-25.
