Engino STEM & Robotics Conference

In Class Progress Meeting

On September 19-20 the Inclass project progress meeting took place in Riga, Latvia and CCS was represented by our member Andreas Pattichis.

The National Cybersecurity Team at the European Cyber Security Challenge ECSC 2022

The Cypriot Cybersecurity Team took 19th place in the Pan-European Cybersecurity Competition held in Vienna from September 12th to September 16th.

Cyprus Olympiad in Informatics: Programming Classes

The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth organizes preparation courses for talented students who are interested in participating in the Pan-Cypriot Informatics Olympiad (CyOI). The programming courses are offered free of charge, every week, in every province, by teachers appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with CCS.

ECSC Steering Committe Meeting 2022

On 16 and 17 May 2022 the European Cyber Security Challenge Steering Committee Meeting took place in Vienna Austria.

Cyprus represented in the Cyber Security Team Europe

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) announced that Team Europe is ready to compete in the International Cyber Challenge (ICC) taking place in Greece next month! Fifteen young talents from twelve different European Union and EFTA countries, aged between 21 and 26, form Team Europe and among them is the Cyprus CCSC member Christodoulos Soteriou.

InClass Project meeting in Germany

On 12 and 13 May 2022, Project Officer Mr. Toumazis Toumazi with the CCS member Mr. Yiannos Mylonas from GC School, participated at the first meeting of the newly established Erasmus+ project InClass. The project was hosted by the Leuphana University in Gemrnay.
