The European University Cyprus (EUC) is hosting its highly successful second annual Hackathon on Digital Skills for Teenagers and has invited the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) to contribute expert industry knowledge.
This is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact young innovators and showcase your experience. We are seeking volunteers for the roles of Mentors and Judges.

About the Hackathon
The event will host 150-160 High School Students (Ages 15–18) from public, private, and technical schools.
Programme & Objective: The goal is the development of Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills, focusing on teamwork and collaboration to design innovative solutions. Students will work to create tech products such as mobile apps, web platforms, and digital games, supported by mentorship from professionals. The final goal is the presentation of solutions before an expert jury, with awards for the most innovative ideas.
How to Get Involved
Role | Focus & Time Commitment |

Expert Mentor | Guide student teams during the development phase, offering technical and strategic advice. (Approx. 4-6 hours during the day) |
Judge | Evaluate the final pitches and innovative solutions developed by the student teams. (Approx. 2-3 hours in the late afternoon) |
