Youth Makerspace Larnaka and the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) are hosting an online seminar on Introduction to Robotics with Arduino, on Saturday 5 June 2021, 10: 00-13: 00.

Participants will learn what an Arduino is, what they can do with it and how to use it. They will make complete examples using Tinkercad Circuits, a free online tool commonly used for 3D design as well as basic electronic circuits.

The workshop is aimed at people interested in robotics, hobbyists, amateurs, computer and technology professionals, educators of informatics, engineering, technology, electrical engineering, electronic applications, etc. and trainers in private and public Institutes.

It is noted that participation in the workshop does not require pre-existing knowledge on the subject, while it is not necessary to own Arduino equipment. Those interested should register by filling out the following online registration form: https://forms.gle/ywAFG1jMzk3UaVc87

Then, to those who register, the participation code for the ZOOM platform will be sent via e-mail, through which the online workshop will take place.

The instructor of the seminar is Odysseas Economidis, founder of the start-up ROBO CY that creates personalized equipment in order to inspire the Cypriot public to engage in robotics in education, research, development and entertainment.

 The language of the workshop is Greek and participation is free. It is noted that the number of seats is limited and will be strictly in order of priority.
