INTRODUCTION
The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) is organizing an online training seminar on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design through the free EasyEDA design tool on Sunday 21 February from 9.00-13.00

EasyEDA is an online suite of Electronic Design Automation tools that allows easy PCB design for production purposes as well as for educational purposes. This suite allows the creation and processing of schematic diagrams (Schematics), the simulation of analog and digital circuits, the creation and processing of printed circuits as well as the construction of printed circuit boards (PCBs).

This tool can be used to design printed circuits for use in robotics and automation applications, in robotics competitions (Robotex) as well as for educational purposes, introducing learners to the logic and techniques of digital printed circuit design.

SEMINAR
The seminar will take place through the ZOOM platform, initially at an introductory level, for beginners. It will take place in two online meetings. Upon completion, participants will be able to design their own PCB board to create a Line Follower Robot, based on the Arduino Nano.

The instructor of the seminar will be the member of CCS and member of the scientific committee of Robotex colleague Miltos Karras.

PARTICIPANTS
It is addressed to professors in the fields of informatics, engineering, technology, electrical engineering, electronic applications, etc., instructors in private tutoring and in State Training Institutes, other IT and technology professionals and people interested in robotics and digital circuit design.

EasyEDA tool
Those interested in participating can "download" the tool that will be used in the seminar from https://easyeda.com/ and install it on their computer. The tool can also be used online but is not recommended for seminar purposes.
