The European Startup Universe is coming to Cyprus to help tech startups grow.
The European Startup Universe is officially expanding to Cyprus for the first time. European Startup Universe Cyprus will launch in March of 2022 and it will run for 6 weeks bringing closer technology startup founders, mentors and experts.
European Startup Universe is a Non-For profit project for EU tech startups, connecting thousands of early-stage technology startups with the best minds of the EU tech community, such as unicorn founders, known investors and experts from the field. ESU’s goal is to support and connect 10.000 early-stage startups across the EU with the brightest minds of the EU diaspora, late-stage founders, angel investors, corporates and experts.
The non-profit initiative of the European Startup Universe is under the patronage of the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel. The program is focusing on technology startups and teams who want to build their technology company.
European Startup Universe Cyprus (#ESUCyprus) will take place online, starting on the 1st of March and it will last until mid-April. The 6-week online program consists of six main pillars that are all going to take place through Founderhood’s platform. You will have office hours and 1:1 online meetings with experts and mentors, workshops, community forum, educational content and perks such as special offers and discounts to tools to build your company. At the end of the 6-week the teams that will show progress will get 1:1 online meetings with European Angel Investors.
The country organiser of European Startup Universe in Cyprus and startup journalist Panis Pieri mentions: “I believe networking is a vital part of success in the startup world. From my experience I helped early stage startups to raise millions by connecting them with the right people. That’s why we decided to bring the European Startup Universe to Cyprus. To help Cypriot-based early stage technology startups grow. To help them achieve their goals. To expand in Europe and globally.”
