CARDET, in collaboration with the University of Nicosia, the University of Groningen and the University College Dublin, and under the auspices of the Cyprus’ Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, would like to invite you to contribute to submissions for the Learning Innovations Summit (LIS) 2024 taking place in Nicosia, Cyprus on September 13-14, 2024.

The LIS2024 provides a unique platform for educators, researchers, and tech pioneers to come together and shape the future of AI and XR in education under the exciting theme of ‘Unveiling the Future of Learning & Artificial Intelligence’. In particular, the Summit is open to proposals for presentations, lightning talks, posters, panels or workshops featuring scholars representing different fields, nationalities, genders, scholarly career stages, and other life experiences related to:

  • AI and XR in education (School, VET, Higher Education, Adult Education)
  • AI and XR in professional and work-based learning
  • Ethical considerations for using AI, XR and emerging technologies in education
  • Critical perspectives on digital learning
  • Technology and sustainability issues
  • Practitioner reflections on the use of digital tools
  • Gender issues for integrating emerging technologies in learning and development
  • Case studies of implementations using a variety of tools (e.g. XR, AI, etc.)
  • Policy issues and business applications of digital tools in learning in organisations
  • Other related topics will also be considered.
