Three robotics teams from the primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary levels are preparing to travel to Singapore, where they will represent Cyprus at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) – International Finals 2025, taking place from 26 to 28 November 2025.
The mission is organized by the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) with the support of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF).

Cyprus will be represented by the following teams, by age category:

The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) wishes the students the best of luck, expressing confidence that they will proudly represent Cyprus while gaining valuable experiences and opportunities to connect with peers from around the world. The CCS also extends warm thanks to the RIF for its continuous and meaningful support of the teams participating in international robotics competitions.

The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is one of the world’s leading educational robotics competitions, aiming to inspire students to develop skills in technology, engineering, and problem-solving through creativity and healthy competition.

The participation of the Cypriot teams in the WRO International Finals follows their success in the national WRO Cyprus competition, organized by CCS in collaboration with STEM Education Hellas and IET Cyprus and hosted at the European University Cyprus in October.

The CCS also organizes three additional educational robotics competitions, as well as a range of student and youth activities focused on computing and technology. All youth activities are powered by ECOMMBX, with XM as the Tech Partner.
