Operating under the banner "Where women lead cybersecurity forward," Women4Cyber Cyprus was launched in November 2024 by professional women with extensive industry expertise. The local chapter is part of the broader Women4Cyber Foundation, which was established in 2019 under the patronage of Mariya Gabriel as an initiative originating from the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). Today, the foundation connects 33 local chapters and nearly 70,000 followers across Europe.
The core mission of Women4Cyber Cyprus is to promote the participation, education, upskilling, and reskilling of women across all levels of cybersecurity — including technical, administrative, and leadership roles. By building cybersecurity expertise among girls and women, the organization aims to contribute to an inclusive and resilient digital environment.
The chapter’s overarching vision is a society where women enjoy equal presence, influence, and opportunities within the cybersecurity sector.
