Research indicates that, in general, school teachers put much importance in enriching their own cyber security knowledge base. However, they are still lacking much knowledge in some important practices." (Wen-Yen, Hsuan-Fu, 2019). Seo et  al. (2019) highlight the effectiveness of virtual reality technology to advance students' cyber security knowledge and skills.

Considering the above, organisation from Lithuania, Cyprus, Malta and Romania will be exploring the interest of both ICT and non-ICT trainers and educators to participate in tailor-made, pedagogical-sound and innovative trainings so as to cover their knowledge gap on cyber security issues. The focus will be on the use of modern technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)  for classroom trainings.

The short questionnaire that follows aims to identify the knowledge gaps on cyber security issues amongst both ICT and NON-ICT Educators and Trainers alike so as to design and develop appropriate AR & VR training scenarios to best cover their knowledge gap.

Completing the short questionnaire will take up to 8 minutes. It is emphasized that the data you enter will be treated confidentially by the project team.
