ΕλληνικάThe Train the Trainers Seminar on Educational Drones, which took place on Saturday 2 March 2024 at the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, was successfully completed.
The seminar was organized by the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) in cooperation with the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute and is part of the wider organization of the Robotex Cyprus and Minoan RobotSports Competition 2024, where a separate competition will be held using Educational Drones.
Initially, the instructors Antoniou Thomas, (Mechanical Engineer, Professor of MTEE), Roussias Christos (Professor of the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute) and Fysenzidis Eric (Electrical Engineering Instructor, Professor of MTEE) presented the capabilities of the drones.
Subsequently, the participants, teachers from public and private secondary schools, instructors from state and private schools and robotics coaches from all over Cyprus, had the opportunity to test the drones in a specially designed simulation area of the competition.
