We are inviting you to the upcoming ROBOTICS training activities as part of our EU co-funded project ReSTELA.
ReSTELA project partners include ECECT from Cyprus as well as Scuola Di Robotica from Italy as well as TALTECH university of Technology in Estonia.
The project, aims to train educators in popular robotics platforms (such as Arduino compatible, Micro:bit) as well as other types of robots (much more expensive) such as Robotic Arms, Humanoid Robots as well as Telepresence robots.
Trainees will have the opportunity to program and monitor these robots REMOTELY via their OWN computer from the comfort of their school or their home. Moreover, they will be able to view the robot via HD streaming cameras.

Training activities will include the following platforms:
- Micro:bit
- Arduino based hardware
- DexArm robotic arm (Ability to remotely program and Control DexArm robot in Cyprus)
- Aldebaran NAO humanoid robot (Ability to remotely program and Control Aldebaran NAO robot in ITALY)
- Ohmni telepresence robot (Ability to control the telepresence robot and guide it in TALTECH University premises)
It is expected that at least five free specialized workshops will be organised in the upcoming months of May until August. Training session will have a duration of about 3 hours and will include theory as well as "hands on" practice on the robots. The educator's students will also have the opportunity to participate during the pilot sessions.
