The «European Researchers’ Night», as a one-of-a-kind celebration, transforms every year cities across Europe into vibrant hubs of discovery, creativity, and inspiration. With activities in over 25 countries and 460 cities, the event invites people of all ages to step into the fascinating world of research.
The «European Researchers’ Night 2025» in Cyprus is organized by the Research and Innovation Foundation, bringing together universities, research centres, innovative enterprises, NGOs, and the public in a festive atmosphere of exploration and fun. With more than 70 interactive activities – from scientific experiments, treasure hunts, science-and-art fusions, and simulations, to science communication student competitions – the event offers something for everyone.
Through hands-on experiments, cutting-edge technology, live demonstrations, competitions, and exciting performances, visitors can experience science as an integral part of daily life. Beyond the lab coats, the event reveals the human side of researchers, highlighting their essential role in society while inspiring young minds to imagine a future in STEM.
