We wish all the best to the students who will represent Cyprus in the International Olympiads in Informatics, which will take place online in September.

Specifically, the following participate in the European High School Informatics Olympiad - EJOI 2020 which will take place on 4-5 September 2020:

  • Michalis Christofi - Greek School Pascal, Limassol
  • Theofanis Orfanou - Greek School Pascal, Limassol
  • Orestis Souzos - Dianellos and Theodotos High School, Nicosia
  • Michail Christos Papachristoforou - Polis Chrysochous High School, Paphos

During the competitions, the Cypriot participants will be at the Pallouriotissa High School in Nicosia and will be monitored both by physical presence and through a camera by the organizers. The participants are the winners of the Pancyprian Informatics Olympiad for Secondary Education Students organized by CCS in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, under the auspices of the Digital Champion of Cyprus, with strategic partner Cyta, and its support XM as a technology partner. 
It is noted that the preparation of students participating in international competitions is undertaken by volunteers, mentors, trainers and teachers who offer free lessons during the school year.
