In connection with the 200th Anniversary of Ada Lovelace, the European Commission and the European Centre for Women and Technology (http://www.womenincomputing.eu/content/ecwc-2016-awards) announce the European awards in recognition of significant contribution of women to computing and digital economy.

One of the nominees for the Ada Lovelace Computing Excellence Award is prof. Valentina Dagiene (http://ims.mii.lt/valentina/en/), the Informatics scientist behind the creation, organization, development and dissemination of the Bebras Challenge (www.bebras.org)  world-wide.

We urge all women scientists, academics, the CCS  members, associates, educators and students to support prof. Valentina Dagiene and vote for her to receive the award.
