ΕλληνικάStudent robotics teams from Cyprus returned with awards from Crete, where they participated in the MRC (Minoan RobotSports Competition) – Global Olympiad, held from April 3 to 6, 2026.
The participants were teams that had previously excelled in the national student robotics competition organized by the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) last year, thereby securing their participation in the international event.
During the competition, Cypriot teams achieved notable results in individual robot sports challenges, including Archery, Shot Put, Rally, and Drones, proudly representing Cyprus and showcasing the high level of skills and innovation of the students.
Special thanks are extended to the Research and Innovation Foundation for the financial support provided to teams of the delegation, contributing substantially to both their participation and the successes achieved at this international event.
