With the support of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) and the coordination of the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS), the two teams that excelled in the FIRST® LEGO® League Cyprus 2025 are preparing to represent Cyprus in the international events of the FIRST® LEGO® League.
The teams ROBOTHEADZ and Robomak secured 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in the FLL Challenge Cyprus competition held last month, demonstrating their outstanding skills in innovation, engineering, and teamwork.
The ROBOTHEADZ team from STEM Education Cyprus will travel to Houston, USA, to participate in the FIRST® LEGO® League Championship, which will take place from April 16 to 19, 2025. This global festival gathers more than 50,000 participants, offering a unique experience of learning, collaboration, and exchange of ideas among the world's top robotics teams.
The Robomak team from TESEK Makarios III Nicosia will participate in the FIRST® LEGO® League Open International, which will be held in Corinth, Greece, from May 2 to 4, 2025. The Open International is a high-level event where teams from various countries compete in robotics and innovation challenges, fostering networking and knowledge exchange.
The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is the sponsor of the international participations of the two FLL Challenge teams, supporting the development of STEM skills and innovation among Cyprus' youth.
Good luck to our teams!
