Security BSides is a non-profit community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration.

CYPSEC 2021 - 2nd Cyprus Defence & Homeland Security Int'l Conference

The aim of the conference is to present the capabilities and the existing solutions of the increasingly high technology in matters of defence and homeland security and to strengthen the effort of the Cypriot companies for networking and cooperation with international companies.

CCS Supports Cyprus Forum

On October 2, Oxygono organises the second Cyprus Forum (https://www.2021.cyprusforum.cy/), at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. The Cyprus Forum seeks to become a lever and catalyst for change through discussions and debate leading to commitments, actions and ultimately outcomes that will improve and promote sustainable and socially responsible policy in Cyprus and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.

Cyprus IT Market Report 2021 Results Presentation

The annual dinner of the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) for it’s members and business executives  was successfully held on July 7, 2021.

The Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Mr. Kyriakos Kokkinos addressed a welcome speech.

The highlight of the event was the the presentation of the Cyprus IT Market Report 2021 following the previous surveys for the years 2016 and 2018.

The Cyprus IT Market Report 2021 covers all sectors of the IT market, such as equipment, services, software and telecommunications and includes the market size 2021 forecasts until 2023 and trend analysis.

Digital Invasions for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage - Closing Activities

From 21 to 25 June 2021, the second and final Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA) of the Erasmus+ Project DIGINV was organised in a hybrid format in Bevagna, Umbria, Italy. The training sessions inlcuded introduction and work with Augmented Reality applications and software for the preparation and creation on virtual rooms. The closing event of the project was held on Thursday 24 June with a multisensory and multidimensional journey through the crafts of the "Gaite" and an incredible Video mapping performance on the Facade of the Church of San Silvestro.

All Digital Network - New Board and Financial Controllers

The Cyprus Computer Society participates since 2015 in the All Digital Network. All Digital is a leading pan-European association based in Brussels, representing 72 member organisations across 25 European countries that work with 25,000 digital competence centres. Following the Annual General Assembly the new board and the new financial controllers have been announced after an online voting procedure.
