EnglishThe Cyprus Computer Society is delighted to invite you to a special series of workshops designed for women to build confidence and skills in today’s digital world. These sessions are part of the European Funded Erasmus+ BRIDGE project, which helps people learn to navigate the internet with peace of mind.
About the Workshops
- We will meet in person over three Saturdays in Larnaka for 3 hours each day.
- You are welcome to join us for just one session or all three, depending on your interest and availability.
- The training will be conducted entirely in Ukrainian to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
- Those participating in all 3 meetings will receive a certificate of successfully completing The Bridge Project Online Course
- Non participants can also register for free and go through the courses on their own pace.

Basics of Online Safety
- Learn how to spot common online dangers like fake messages (phishing) and "too good to be true" offers.
- We will show you simple habits to keep your devices secure and understand the "digital footprint" you leave behind when you browse the internet.
Saturday, 1 August , Time: 10:00-13:00
Staying Digitally Healthy and Working Well Online
- In this session, we discuss how to balance technology with your daily life to avoid "digital fatigue" and stress for you and your family
- We will also explore how to work or learn effectively with others in online groups and how our technology use impacts the world around us.
Saturday, 8 August, , Time: 9:00-12:00
Protecting Your Personal Information in Europe
- We will explain how to keep your private details, like your name, location, and family info, safe from being misused
- You will learn how to use social media safely, how to join online classes without worry, and how to exercise your rights to have your data corrected or deleted if needed.
These are all included in the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
